Who in the hell would call me this early? That was my thought as I tried to wake up enough to be able to talk with some sense of intelligence.

I reached over and picked up my phone. It was my roommate, Rob, calling. I am sure he only wanted to check up on me, but I wasn’t in the mood to talk. I ended up sending the call to voicemail. I knew that I should have answered, but I was in heaven.

Besides, I really didn’t feel like recounting the events of the last few days with him. My body and mind were both exhausted. I would call him back later in the day.
